Barbara Seidel (alias Barbara Maimone when she used the surname of the consort Antonio Maimone) was born in Germany between the late forties and early fifties. Very tall, in the 1960 she came third in the Miss Berlin competition.
To introduce her in the Italian Cinema in the early seventies was the well-known character actor Antonio Maimone, with whom she will marry and have two daughters: Natasha and Jasmine (both actress). She obtained so some little roles in movies where her husband works.
After the departure of Antonio, she became romantically linked to the director Maurizio Pradeaux, with whom had collaborated in the scriptwriting and as assistant director of the films Passi di morte perduti nel buio (1977) and Thrilling love (1989).
Having abandoned the showbusiness in the late 80s, she lived in Monterotondo (Rome) with her affectionate director, until his death, which occurred in July 1st, 2022.[1]
