He started boxing at 14, in a gym of Flaminio stadium in Rome, his sport career is shortly interrupted due to an accident, during a sparring with his friend and singer Lando Fiorini.
From then he began his career as a boxe coach, preparing athletes such as italian world champion Giovanni De Carolis.
His first known cinematographic experience was in Pasolini's Accattone (1961), the assisant director Bernardo Bertolucci chose him for playing a kid with a speaking line in the "dip from bridge" scene, later he took part in other films and tv series, including various movies of his friend Carlo Verdone.
He was a great friend of Mario Brega, Sergio Leone and Alfredo Ciarpelloni.
