Storyline

Rome. The dentist Emilio has a nervous wife, Elisa, who spends her days performing at piano the Beethoven's Appassionata, a teenage daughter, Eugenia, and Nicola, an inseparable friend of her who stay daily many hours in the doctor's home. This girl, deeply alone and uninhibited, has a deep interest in Emilio and seduces him in his studio. The man finds himself in a vicious circle when his wife is admitted to a psychiatric clinic and Eugenia tries to replace her mother.
