Like many other generici active in Italian cinema, such as Irina Wassilchikoff and Andrea Esterhazy, Marcella Theodoli was a noblewoman, more precisely a marquise. Active since the 60s, she was never credited, but appeared in numerous films and TV productions, up until at least the late 90s - very frequenly in small party guest roles, but she was also memorable as Massimo Boldi's mother in I due carabinieri (1984).

Marcella Theodoli was identified thanks to the article Le divine comparse, published in the magazine Epoca n° 1282 (published on May 3, 1975).

Marcella Theodoli was apparently never credited in any films, but was identified due to her appearance in Giuseppe Patroni Griffi's Divina creatura (1975) where she plays a party guest (on the right)
Ghibarian found out that in the magazine Epoca n° 1282 (published 3 May 1975), there's an article about several Roman noblemen and women appearing as extras in the party sequence in Divina creatura. Emiliano was able to purchase this magazine on eBay, and thanks to the text and pictures in this article we were able to determine that our generica is the marquesa Marcella Theodoli.

So she did not begin her carrer with Patroni Griffi in 1975, (like if i remember wright was written in the magazine article, from which we found her name, in which it was written this was her first movie) but some years before.
