Yeah, I agree plus this scene is shot in Spain! He's just so familiar but I can't place him :unsure2:

I won't say definitely not but it doesn't seem like him to me, weird angle, but the features don't seem to match (nose/nostrils, chin(s), eyes/eyelids).

Is this from a new better-definition copy of the film?

My thought was that the features might be distorted due to the weird angle, but I never felt quite sure about it, and even less so now so it's probably not him.

It's from a Mediaset print that I got some months ago, but haven't really looked at until now. It still far from perfect, but an improvement on that other version that's been making the rounds.

IMDb is under the impression that this is Omero Capanna in Le meraviglie di Aladino, but I'm sure it's Rinaldo Zamperla. Any opinions?

I think it's Rinaldo, yes. As pointed out by Rudy, you see it in the last pic in particular. Earlier prints of this film have been pretty murky, which is probably why he has been mistaken for Capanna.

And also, Nick, in the pic you posted of Alfred Thomas in Aladino, I believe we have Sandro Mondini as well!

I've added Scagnetti and Mondini. Strangely there don't seem to be any other familiar faces among the courtiers, which is probably why I overlooked him. I have also upgraded all previous images for this film - Todesco, Felleghy, Reid

I do think this is that balding black actor again, which makes 5 possible roles I have for him, so I think a topic for him could be an idea

Thank you! Of the courtiers it looks as if this one could be Giuseppe Marrocu. If so, it's his earliest credit!

Yes, might as well just fire up a topic for the black actor then as more roles are bound to pop up.
