Re: Quick Identifications
Is this Riccardo Petrazzi in Un minuto per pregare, un istante per morire? Dan says he appears at 00.38, which is this actor, but without his trademark moustache or seeing his usually very blue eyes I'm struggling with the ID.

Re: Quick Identifications
I can see the resemblance in the first pic, but not so much in the second. I'm not sure it's really him.PeplumParadise wrote: ↑20/07/2021, 11:45Is this Riccardo Petrazzi in Un minuto per pregare, un istante per morire? Re: Quick Identifications
I cannot understand the doubts. This is 300% Petrazzi. In each pic. But you - of course - can do what you want.

Hopefully we can get a few more opinions to help us decide
Re: Quick Identifications
I think it's Petrazzi

Re: Quick Identifications
Since Dan and Carlos are both convinced it's him I'm happy to go with that. I don't get that instant recognition factor, but then he wasn't a peplum stuntman (or at least hasn't been identified in any so far), so he's not someone I'm too familiar with
Re: Quick Identifications
From the archive: in the following pic (Cianfriglia thread). Isn't that Gianni Baghino, second from left? (´Il terrore dei barbari` [1959], that is)

Re: Quick Identifications
Not Baghino, but he is a familiar face from peplums.
I've never been able to decide who the bearded actor is between Giulia Rubini and Giuliano Dell'Ovo

Re: Quick Identifications
I think we can eliminate one title from Cianfriglia's titles to check.
He's credited by ANICA as playing a wrestler in Annibale. The film has one big wrestling scene with 8 wrestlers, but I've examined it closely and am certain of the ID's below, which don't include Cianfriglia.
From L-R we have Alfio Caltabiano, Benito Stefanelli, Vladimiro Picciafuochi, Aldo Cecconi, Enrico Chiappafreddo, Bruno Arie, Nello Pazzafini and Sergio Ukmar. The title needs adding to the topics for Cecconi, Chiappafreddo and Ukmar so I'll get that sorted.
So I guess for Cianfriglia that means it should be added to the list of films where he doesn't appear (or at least not in that role anyhow). Presumably someone must have mistaken him for one of the others, most of whom I haven't seen credited anywhere
