While the audience members here in Puccini are pretty impossible to identify, I do think that could be Mirko Bajocci at the front row right, but probably not clear enough to make a solid ID. Any opinions?screenshot39.jpgscreenshot41.jpg
I think it is, yes. Is that from the English-dubbed version? I have an Italian language version I got on Emule since I'm preparing a topic for Amalia Pellegrini, and it runs a little longer than the English one, but it's not that great-looking and it's pretty dark. I found this additional shot where you see him a little closer up, and it has to be Mirko in my opinion. Don't know if that shot is in your version or not

I think this is him as an audience member in an earlier scene too (front row here too)

Yes, it's from the English version. Since we both think it's him i'll go ahead and post it.

I did wonder if this could be him in the doorway at the opera too, but it's really not clear enough to say

Can this be Catoni and Ginesi in La Certosa di Parma? Both only seen for a fraction of a second shouting in an angry mob

I thought it might be, but it's not really possible to be sure. That reminds me, though, that I have another early 1950s role for her that I've forgotten to post!

Catoni for sure!

Ginesi is very soft and blurry, but you can make out just enough of his very characteristic features to say it's definitely him.

Nothing to do with this post, but Rudy reminded me to remind you to post the pics of Luigi Smith from the Whitebeard page

Yes, it was the only shot I could get of Ginesi, he flashes into shot and out again in the blink of an eye

Could this be Pietro Torrisi as saloon brawler in Lo chiamavano verità (1972) ?
his hair looks a bit different, is it him ?

No, it's not him. Looks more like Clemente Ukmar, I think...
