It's not Monte Gelato in Casotto.

That place is Cascate della Mola in Soriano nel Cimino, near Viterbo.

Amerigo Santarelli in Io, Amleto? I'm rather doubtful, but let's see what others think

I think it probably is him, yes. The source obviously leaves quite a bit to be desired, but he has the same eyes and same cleft chin etc.

We already have Fortunato Arena in 2 roles in Teodora, imperatrice di Bisanzio, could this maybe be a 3rd?

I'm never quite sure what to call these people who turn up in public squares to read from scrolls (which in this case appears to be blank!). Public announcer? Newsreader? Town cryer?

I agree for Arena, the role in Italian is "banditore" in English probably "crier"

I think it's Arena, yes.

I think 'herald' might be the term you are looking for.

I would think of 'herald' as being fairly specifically a medieval term, for people who make announcements at jousts and archery contests. It doesn't tend to get used much in other contexts in English, other than as a little used alternative name for paper flyers or being the name of a rather old newspaper.

I think in this instance maybe "town crier" would be a better term - dictionary definition "a person employed to make public announcements in the streets or marketplace of a town".

For the movie I giorni contati (1962) Imdb says that the role of the museum attendant is Nestore Cavaricci
If it is him and i think it can be, for two seconds then he has a new role for his topic
opinions ?

Only seen in this shot but not visible entirely
Certainly very similar, difficult to say for sure that it is him, in my opinion.
