The Montoya Files

Post by FatmanDan » 16/06/2022, 22:29

Well, at least we have our man appearing in all 3...
As far as I did a short research, "Antonio Montoya" has no other credits; there is another one, apparenty a dancer, in a 1953 short and another another, from 2012...
"José Montoya" has (surprisingly) only one more in ´Curro Jimenez´(1978) episode ´La media luna` (all other ones are for José Felix [or Felix José]). I couldn't find a resembling face to José Felix in the unknown actors FAFDM pics.
An "Aquilino Montoya" shows up since last year as a stuntman

The "José Aquilino Montoya" is said to be a member of Roman Ariznavarreta's stunt team.

Last one for today: I just saw we had a discussion about this before: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=376&p=33864&hilit=aquilino#p33861

:joy: :joy: :sob: :sob:

I think for now we should keep him as unidentified - I'm sure he will be found in some non-westerns where he may stand more chance of being credited - the guys on that western blog don't seem to consider the idea of watching non-westerns when trying to identify actors!

We can at least add the other known roles - but make original pictures, no copying them from that page

...and at least I could add the Brendel credit from "Mohicano".

Maybe we shouldn't call him "Paco" but the "Montoya Mystery Man"

Uno bianca (2001) (Tv miniseries) (2 episodes) credited, as Uno bianca director
Found only a shortened tv version of this miniseries where he is seen for a minute or two.

I don't consider myself good at recognizing the actors in 2001 but if you confirm that it's Lorenzo Piani, I collect other images from the film and post him.

Definitely Piani on the left.
Thank you very much, Johan

I'm not very familiar with Ugo Ballester: Is it him in the foreground?

Second, even lesser with ´Greying man with sunglasses.....`

And, last (for today.... ehm.... tonight): Is this a Beard Guy we know? (All pics from ´Django il bastardo` (1969))

We should agree that the bearded guy is Osiride Pevarello in a few-frames-appearance in ´Una lunga fila di croci` (1969: Which dell'Acqua is the left one? Arnaldo, Isay....)

I would say probably, though that's only from the 3rd image as in the others he's unidentifiable

The Dell'Acqua is Arnaldo definitely
