Post by Emiliano » 04/11/2018, 18:04

This common topic will be used to perform quick identifications (yes/not) on actors/generici just listed, that we already know.

or is it a brain twist ?

i myself, i'm not convinced, but he worked with alberto sordi in the past. what are your opinions ?

Big Black Beard is restored with many new pics ;) The missings are:

Operazione San Pietro (1967) Friar / Man at the procession - Ghibarian (2 pics)
Straziami, ma di baci saziami (1968) Monk - Ghibarian
Profondo rosso (1975) Seller at market - JM
I nuovi mostri - segment ''Mammina e mammone'' (1977) Homeless - Ghibarian
Sangraal, la spada di fuoco (1982) Villager - JM

In addition these are in the filmography, some with low-res pics (first 3) and IMO are doubtful IDs. These pics are close to the same frames.
Il figlio di Django (1967) - I don't see him at all, he may be somewhere else in this?

Pecos e qui prega e muori (1967) - again I don't see him at all
vlcsnap-2018-11-13-16h15m33s250.jpg

Cimitero senza croci (1968) - doesn't seem him at all
vlcsnap-2018-11-12-21h32m17s836.jpg

Così sia (1972) - seems a younger slimmer black beard

Opinions?

I'm not really convinced about her pics from Fellini's Roma and the second from Perverse oltre le sbarre.
It's our woman for sure in Perverse oltre le sbarre, but you might be right that it's not her in the second pic. These screenshots are from many years ago and I haven't looked at the movie since. I'll have to look at it again to if I could have made a mistake with the second pic.

As for Roma, that ID is from Ghibarian, but it looks correct in my opinion.

I agree it's not him in those three pictures. It probably seemed like him in the low-res versions and that caused the confusion, which is why I usually try to avoid YouTube versions etc.

As for Così sia, it looks like the real BBB to me.

Yes, I mean the second one in Perverse. Bags under eyes and different eyebrows.

As for Roma, maybe.

Quando arriva il giudice (1986), episode "Le notte delle stelle" from JM is not in the filmography (problem or oversight?)
I wasn't 100% sure about the identification when I first posted that role and didn't add initially add it in the filmo because of that, and later it was simply forgotten. It's nice you caught it, though, and I've now added the role.

johan, can you check my picture on page 35 about veriano ginesi.
is it him perhaps in accadde al commissariato ? it's very hard to see, i'm not sure !
it's worth a try to track him down.
rudy
No, I don't think it's him. For starters he's too slim.

One of the roles from Marocco's unverified filmography is as a journalist in Sballato, gasato, completamente fuso (1982). Looking at the film, I found this journalist:
Sballato Gasato - Marocco Or Lookalike.jpg
But is he really Marocco, or is it just a look-alike? To me he seems different somehow...

In my opinion he's not Giuseppe Marrocco: I think he had to be more bald in 1982.
