How about this for a somewhat younger Egidio Ummarino in Harlem (Knock-out) from 1943? It's 16 years earlier than his current earliest role.

I'd say yes. Nose, lips, hairline - all is fitting.

An absolute yes from me.

Btw, based on the films you been posting pictures from, I'm guessing you're working on a topic for Liana Del Balzo. I also had the same thought myself as she certainly has a very significant amount of uncredited appearances, but I won't have to in that case :D

Good deduction :D Yes, though unfortunately a lot of her earlier films look like they'll be pretty impossible to find, and I didn't find her in Harlem (which I've previously head-shotted without finding her), though with young Egidio, Fasciano and the Old Bolshevik it definitely wasn't a wasted viewing

Yeah, that's the trouble with a lot of 1940s and especially 1930s films. Emule used to be good source for some pretty obscure 1950s stuff and some from the 40s too, but I've more or less given up on it at this point...

yes, I've given up on emule, it went from taking hours to download to taking weeks, then pretty much gave up altogether, plus I use a Mac and none of those programs are very Mac friendly - shame as it used to be a good source for finding old Spanish films which are hardly ever on You Tube

I'm not sure about this being Lorenzo Piani? He has the general look but the face seems rounder and the 'worried look' is missing :unsure2:

and is this our White Western Beard?

Not White Western Beard and not one of the other whitebeards we have topics for. Post it to the whitebeard topic and I will add it to our list to identify

I don't know Piani very well
