Identifying credited-by-picture actors from Il giorno più corto (1963)

I am looking at doing a topic for Il giorno più corto, which is going to be a big one. The film does not have any actor credits as such, but does finish with images of 79 actors who were presumably so well known at the time that Italian audiences were supposed to know who they were without them being named. For the moment I am not trying to identify them in the film itself, just trying to sort out who is credited and who isn't.

I'm not familiar with Marisa Del Frate, but her name does not appear in any of the cast lists online (Tototruffa, ANICA, Spencer/Hill database, IMDb), so I think it would be unlikely she would be among the credited-by-picture actors. I think 29 is probably Luisella Boni.

I agree that she is Luisella Boni, but it's interesting that they appear to have used a publicity still of her rather than a picture of her in costume from the film like they have with most of the others. Is this from the poster that also includes images of various actors (such as David Niven) who cannot be found anywhere in the actual film?

As for some of the other unknowns remaining, here's my take:

The images above are from the film itself. The poster you mention, which was also the DVD cover, does indeed include a number of actors who do not appear (I spent years trying to find Steve Reeves) and are not included in the credit images in the film. Unfortunately the copies online are not sharp enough to make out the names beneath the images.

Not sure about Teddy Reno
