Re: List of generici 1940's-1950's
Sadly many 1950's movies are still hard to be found...
At least L'udienza is easy to found, so we can make a pic of the Nun, and if the other roles written in the google book are correct (which we can see by checking the actor) we can say she is her and for sure we can found many roles (since the list is from generici active 1940's-1950's and the movie is from 1972)

I would guess that the Pasquale Fasano listed is probably Pasquale Fasciano, who we now have a topic for

Fasciano should be on the list anyway as he was active in the 40's and 50'sCiavazzaro wrote: ↑23/12/2019, 2:05Altrough we can't be 100 percent sure, i think this should be correct.

I forgot he was active in the 1940's, if there are no other Fasciano or similar then he must be the one !

I would think Gustavo Giorgi should be added to the list

Umberto Fantoni in this list is a person we really should check.
He is credited in two movies which are easy to found:
Madri Pericolose (Johan have it and i had made pics too, but it looks he have a better copy than me)
Ruba al prossimo tuo.
I have also discovered that he is credited in fotoromanzi, which should made even easier his identification:

I don't think there's much, if any, chance of identifying him from looking at those movies. As you know, the Italian actors credited in Ruba al prossimo tuo have very tiny roles, and some have not even been possible to find at all, such as Filippo Perego.Ciavazzaro wrote: ↑03/04/2020, 23:42Umberto Fantoni in this list is a person we really should check.

True but at the same time Esterhazy and Tedeschi really do appear.
In any case, we have at least the fotoromanzi, from that there should be no doubt, also in one of them is credited as mr, so it should be an older actor.

Re: List of generici 1940's-1950's
An interesting name on the list is Ezio Rossi, who has a significant amount of credits. It looks as if he might have been a generico in the 1940s and early 1950s (and maybe earlier too) with a few credited movie roles up until the mid 1950s, at which point he started to work pretty much exclusively for television. He has tons of credited television roles, but despite being credited, the roles are extremely tiny. He's really not much more than a generico - just a credited one. Does anyone think it's worth starting a topic for him? I don't really recognize him from any movies, but I'm assuming there are uncredited roles to be found from the 1940s and early 1950s at least. This is him in La vita di Cavour (1967)
