I don’t know this actor, but he’s the same actor in all these pictures.

He's unknown to me too, but I agree with Emiliano: looks like the same man in all the pictures

I can confirm that it is really him. The scene in question was told to me directly by Virgilo and I have this further photo directly from his private archive:

Here you can spot Virgilio in Gangs of New York, he's the guy on the left with the brown top hat and saber:

Here 2 Pic from his private archive that may be useful only to confirm his stunt presence in these films. First one is related to "Qua la mano" 1980, in which he doubled Adriano Celentano.
Second one from "La cintura di castità" 1967, in which he doubled Monica Vitti.

IMDb has him listed for "Stunts" in Ercole sfida Sansone, though it is Willy Colombini who is credited as master of arms. Does anyone recognise Virgilio among the unidentified actors in our film topic?

I have now re-checked an audio interview that I did years ago with Virgilo. He told me that "Ercole sfida Sansone" was his first experience in cinema and that he was called by Willi Colombini (a dancer and a master of arms according to Virgilio) who had noticed his athletic skills. The scene involved him climbing a rope.
So, based on what Virgilio told me in the interview, we should almost certainly be able to identify him as the guy who climbs a rope.
I hope it helps to recognize it :praying:

Thank you, I will re-check the film for any rope-climbers, though of course it may be that his face is not seen identifiably
