Trying to identify stuntman/actor Virgilio Ponti
I found that “Gruppo acrobatico S.A.C.I.” was the team of Sergio Mioni, another historical Stuntcoordinator. So, if we consider that the credit refers to a group of several people, it is possible that Virgilio belongs to his group.

Mike, since you are the one who knows the info on Virgilio, would you mind writing a small biography to put in his topic. Once the topic is done I'll put it into your name since you are the one who has done all the work with the identifications.Stuntman Mike wrote: ↑17/03/2023, 16:00Virgilio Ponti in Spara, Gringo, Spara (1968) as saloon brawler, uncredited

Trying to identify stuntman/actor Virgilio Ponti
Virgilio Ponti was born in Rome in 1933. He was an Italian actor and stuntman particularly active in the western genre. His specialties were fencing, horse riding and acrobatics. Also very skilled as an archer, to the point of having been in contention as an Olympic athlete in his time.PeplumParadise wrote: ↑17/03/2023, 22:08Mike, since you are the one who knows the info on Virgilio, would you mind writing a small biography to put in his topic. Thanks to his skills with the sword he has often trained actors and actresses in multiple films, and has coordinated numerous theater performances.
The Virgilio’s ability on horseback comes from his great passion for this world since he was a child. In his home in Formello he owned several racehorses that competed in all the racetracks.
His lean physique made him perfect to double the women as well. One of the actress most doubled was Monica Vitti.
Virgilio is among all the Italian stuntmen one of those to have had one of the longest careers, having started in the early 60s and having finished his career in 2020, at the age of 87, with the last stunt appearance.
He died in 2021 in Formello in his country house.

This must be Virgilio in Arriva Durango paga o muori (1971) as a Mexican in a short scene.

I'm adding some photos (already posted here) that I had saved directly from the blu-rays of "La via della droga" (1977) and "La mala ordina" (1972) after Carlos had identified it.
