Re: The Whitebeard project
Well that was quick! I think I may have our first find for our newest whitebeard generico, Polar Beard, as a newspaper seller in Come svaligiammo la banca d'Italia, any opinions?

Hmm... I really don't know, but I have some sharper pics if that makes it any easier...

Re: The Whitebeard project
I think it is him, the features all seem to match - it looks like he has quite distinctive ears, seen more clearly in your images, which look like they match what you see in I due gladiatori (assuming the right side matches the left), and the nose and beard fitJohan Melle wrote: ↑03/09/2020, 17:29Hmm... Re: The Whitebeard project
My worst nightmare! :'( In Saul e David you have this scene where all the high priests are assembled and executed which features pretty much every bearded generico working in Italian films, but all the available prints are so soft that only a few seen in close-up can be identified. If a miracle should occur and someone finds a widescreen HD print of this film somewhere please let me know.
Also, in some of the worst continuity I've seen in Italian films, you have shots cutting back and forth between the priests and the spectators watching the slaughter, where you have Umberto Salomone, White Peplum Beard and probably a couple of others playing both priests and spectators!

Must have missed this post originally, but yes, I agree that it should be him. 138 looks a lot like Franco Jamonte, btw.
Anyway, I think these two whitebeards playing judges in episodes 6 and 7 of I fratelli Karamazov (1969) belong here

Re: The Whitebeard project
I'm not sure about those 2, the beards look suspicious to me - it can be a nightmare trying to differentiate between fake and real whitebeards sometimes, though thin straggly beards are usually a sure sign of falseness. The second one certainly has false eyebrows!Johan Melle wrote: ↑11/09/2020, 19:59Must have missed this post originally, but yes, I agree that it should be him. 138 looks a lot like Franco Jamonte, btw.

Yeah, they might very well be fake. Just figured it was worth a try. Pretty sure there will be no shortage of others to add here, though

All white beards are welcomed, they've proved to be quite productive so farJohan Melle wrote: ↑11/09/2020, 21:02Yeah, they might very well be fake. Just figured it was worth a try. Pretty sure there will be no shortage of others to add here, though
