Re: The Whitebeard project
Here are all the possible roles I have for him so far...
Are we in agreement that these could all be the same man?
Una colt in pugno al diavolo
Il pistolero segnato da dio
Arrivano i titani
Odissea
La vendetta di Spartacus
Trinita e Sartana figli di
Romolo e Remo I think this might also be him, seen much more clearly elsewhere in the film
El desperado
Sorbole... che romagnola
La lunga cavalcata della vendetta
La vendetta e un piatto che si serve freddo
Mani di velluto
I think this may also be him in 30 winchester per el diablo
and possibly also here on the left in Little Rita nel West
and also maybe here in I quattro dell'ave maria, on the left in the 1st image and right in the 2nd
and another possibility I'm not sure about in Apocalypse Joe
and one more, Cosi sia

Re: The Whitebeard project
Like the others I'm a bit unsure about I quattro dell'Ave Maria, but also Little Rita nel West. The others I think show the same man.

Re: The Whitebeard project
So leaving out I quattro dell'Ave Maria and maybe putting Little Rita nel West as an uncertain, I guess we can start his topic, with 16 roles it seems silly not to.
What are we going to call him?

I'm not very good with nicknames, but maybe FatmanDan's idea of Whitefuzzy can be used?

Re: The Whitebeard project
Before adding a whole new bunch of whitebeard head shots into the mix I want to see if we can get one more eliminated and into the unidentified generici (which seems to be becoming a wall of facial hair
)
I'm very confident that most, if not all, these identifications are all the same actor. When seen from a certain angle he has a prominent line along his left cheek which seems consistent in most of the identifications, maybe from an injury. He has distinctive eyes and a beard he usually kept trimmed fairly short, often with a dark streak coloured in the centre. All opinions welcomed.
Romolo e Remo (1961) at top right
Boccaccio 70 (1962)
Buffalo Bill, l'eroe del far west (1964)
I tre centurioni (1964)
Da uomo a uomo (1967)
Little Rita nel West (1967) second from left in the first images
La colina degli stivali (1969)
Ciakmull (1970)
Continuavano a chiamarlo Trinità (1971)
Ci risiamo, vero Provvidenza (1973)
and a few more roles that I think are probably him, but which I am not so certain about...
Maciste, l'eroe più grande del mondo (1963) on the left in the red
Odissea (1968)

Looks like the same guy in most of the pics, yes.PeplumParadise wrote: ↑13/12/2020, 18:37Before adding a whole new bunch of whitebeard head shots into the mix I want to see if we can get one more eliminated and into the unidentified generici (which seems to be becoming a wall of facial hair)

Little Rita is the biggest doubt for me, but maybe it's the angle and the fact that he has a hat on that does it.
Also not sure about Ci risiamo, vero Provvidenza, but it might just be because of the movement and blurriness and that you get a different impression when you watch in motion (as is often the case).
Of the two uncertains I'm not too sure about Maciste, but I think yes in the case of Odissea.

Re: The Whitebeard project
I can't remember if this has been discussed before, and I'm too lazy to go through this entire thread, but couldn't these two whitebeards be the same guy?

Re: The Whitebeard project
Also, Nick, I think I might have spotted our White peplum beard generico in two pics posted by you.
I'm thinking this might be him with a trimmed beard in Costantino il grande
And here I'm thinking we have him with hair(!) on the left in I quattro dell'Ave Maria
Opinions?
