Maurizio Piacenti in the TV mini series ...e la vita continua (1984)
Maurizio Piacenti was a professional opera singer who had a second career appearing in movies.
He has a credited role in the opera movie La Traviata (1967) and is also credited in the TV mini-series Madame Bovary (1978) where he appears in an opera sequence. His only other credited roles are Il pirata dello sparviero nero (1958) as a pirate and in the TV-mini series I ragazzi di celluloide n. 2 (1984) as an old neighbor, but he also appears many, many times as a generico - especially in the 1980s.

I first noticed him in the TV mini series I ragazzi di celluloide n. 2 (1984) where he has a credited role as Old neighbor
I then checked the opera movie La Traviata (1967) where he is credited with playing Marquis d'Obigny, and here he is, a lot younger of course
Maurizio is also credited in the sceneggiato Madame Bovary (1978) in another opera role. He plays Edgardo in the opera "Lucia di Lammermoor" watched by the protagonists

I've dug up a little bit of information about his professional opera career and have found out he appeared in the opera "Alceste" by C.W. Gluck in 1967. Here's a CD release of this opera and Maurizio is credited on the cover
