- Andrea Scandurra in Cineguida 1968-69
|
Andrea Scandurra was a stocky, fairly short, and most notably, shaven-headed actor, active in Italian films from at least the late 50's until the mid-70's.
It would appear he kept his head shaved throughout his career, which should make him easy to identify. He had three credited roles from which he is identified. Not to be confused with similar-looking Omero Gargano - or for that matter Bruce Willis or Vin Diesel.
I have been familiar with Scandurra for some time now and had always assumed he had a large filmography, so I was very surprised to find that he only has very small filmography. I am sure there must be more roles to be found.
He lived in Roma, in viale Arrigo Boito, 50.

Totòsexy (1963) credited, as
Prisoner. Here he has pretty much his biggest role as a prisoner sharing a cell with Toto, Macario, Mimmo Poli and Gianni Baghino (another topic in the pipeline). He may have a prisoner number, but if he did I missed it.
Here you get some idea of what he could look like with hair, since it's always possible he appeared in some other films wearing a wig.
and here you get to see what he looks like in drag, along with Mimmo Poli and Gianni Baghino!

La lama nel corpo (1966) probably credited, as
Walter.
This is one of those films where everyone is credited with ridiculous pseudonyms, and according to various online sources Scandurra is credited, for some reason, as William Gold.
