- Edward Febo Kelleng in "Londra chiama Polo Nord" (1956)
|
Edward Febo Kelleng was presumably an Englishman, or possibly an American, who appeared in various Italian films throughout the 1950s and 60s.
He does not appear to have had any credited roles, but his identity is known thanks to him appearing in two very famous films, Jean Renoir's
La carrozza d'oro (1952) and Mario Bava's
Diabolik (1968), with his name appearing in a variety of written documents about those films. So far, I've come across four different variants of his last name (Febo Kelleng, Febokelleng, Fedo Keeling and Fredo Keeling) so it's hard to say which is the correct one...

La carrozza d'oro (1952) as
The viscount
Despite playing a reasonably large role and appearing in several scenes, he is uncredited. He is, however, credited as Fedo Keeling in the book "Jean Renoir, a Guide to References and Resources" (1979) and in the booklet which accompanies the French blu-ray. On ANICA, however, he is listed as Fredo Keeling.

Waterloo (1970)
I think it's safe to say he's playing a
Member of French royalty, since he's seated with Louis XVIII (Orson Welles) and King Charles X (Aldo Cecconi), but beyond that there are no other clues. He appears to be sleeping throughout the scene!

Pietà per chi cade (1954) as
Friend of the Savelli family
He appears in various scenes throughout the movie - usually right next to Zulina Badaloni, so he is presumably meant to be the husband of her character, but this is never made clear.

The Man From Cairo (Dramma nella Kasbah) (1953) as
Roulette player. Not the sharpest of pics, but that's him in white at the end of the table.
