Bruno Di Luia (Rome, April 4, 1943) has a film career as a stuntman, supporting actor and sometimes master of arms, forming so an immense filmography.[1]

Sometimes he’s credited as Franco Di Luia or Bruno Riccardo di Luia, but he’s easily recognizable in his cinematic interpretations, thanks to his squashed boxer's nose and the inseparable drop-shaped Ray-Ban sunglasses mod. Aviator.

In his private life he had a reputation as a strong hitter with a stormy past, belong the variegated community of Roman neo-fascists, plus a sporting background for playing on the CUS Roma rugby team.[1, 2]

Married, with a daughter, he has been in prison about twenty times for being a convinced and assiduous militant of the right-wing extra-parliamentary political movement Avanguardia Nazionale. He defined himself as "an angry Nazi": «...They can call me in many ways, but the only one I don't accept is a thug: I was lucky enough to know how to defend myself, otherwise I would have ended up like so many boys killed...». At the question «How would you define yourself?» he replied: «A Robin Hood, on the side of the weakest... an outlaw in this false democracy».[1]

In September 2021, Luigi Secli published a book dedicated to his figure: Bruno Di Luia: il NERO. However, this volume does not deal with his artistic career.
