He began his career in the cinema industry as a stunt performer in the Epic Peplum Movies and Big Colossals. After a few years he embarked on a career as an actor, starting a new chapter of his life under the stage name of “Antony Freeman” or “Anthony Freeman” or “Tony Freeman”.
He worked for a long period, mainly covering roles as protagonist, co-protagonist or villain, but always carrying out the action in first person thanks to his experience as stuntman.
In old age he began to increasingly cover the role of stunt coordinator.
Mario died in Rome on August 21th 2016 at the age of 76.
Both his sons, Emiliano and Alessandro, emulating their father’s deeds, embarked on his same career from a very young age, establishing themselves internationally and participating in the making of numerous Action Movies as stuntmen and stunt coordinators.
