The film opens with a bunch of prisoners watching a western film, specifically the barroom brawl sequence from Buon funerale amigos!...paga Sartana (1970). Pietro is one of a number of actors who can be clearly recognised in the clip.

From my Peplum Paradise group on Facebook I have this information from Stefania Giolitti, granddaughter of Pietro Ceccarelli. She confirms Pietro's date of birth as being November 21st 1926 and his date of death as being October 14th 1993. She also confirms that Lanfranco was Pietro's brother and that Stefano Ceccarelli, who she has identified as our Barbarian Torturer, was her great grandfather.

These images from the culturaitalia website show Pietro (with hair!) on a beach with American actor Jeff Chandler. These must almost certainly be from the set of Raw Wind in Eden (1958), a US production shot in Italy and Chandler's only film made there. Unfortunately there is only a poor quality copy of the first half of the film to be found online, so I have not been able to ascertain whether Pietro appears or what his role in the production could have been. From the same source there is also an image of Pietro's brother Lanfranco with actors Carlos Thompson and Rik Battaglia, who do appear in the film, so it would seem both brothers were somehow involved in the film.

Trois filles dans le vent (1981) Pietro is seen in footage taken from Gli schiavi più forti del mondo (1964).

The nonsensical plot involves former film star Gordon Mitchell kidnapping Sirpa Lane, liberally interspersed for no real reason with hardcore sex scenes and extensive clips from Gordon's old films, presumably there for the purpose of filling up the running time and establishing that he really was a film star once, before his career sunk to making junk like this.
