Roberto Dell'Acqua in La via della droga (1977)

Roberto Dell'Acqua was a stuntman and actor active in Italian films from the early 1960's until the mid-2010's.

Born on April 16th 1946 in Rome, he is the younger brother of Alberto and Arnaldo and older brother to Ottaviano (sister Fernanda's birthdate is unknown, but I would guess she is nearest in age to Roberto). He died in Rome on September 16th 2019, aged 73.

Having worked in the circus as a youngster along with his brothers, Roberto began his film career while still in his teens in the mid 60's with appearances in a few peplums. He then worked steadily, mostly in uncredited stunt roles, right up until 2 years before his death.

Films where Roberto is listed as appearing somewhere online, but cannot be found. There always has to be one!

• Colpo maestro al servizio di Sua Maestà britannica (1967) IMDb says the credited pseudonym "Robert Stevenson" refers to Roberto, but this is a "c.s.c." credit and Roberto was not a c.s.c. actor. The credit probably belongs to Valentino Macchi, but this needs confirming.

Like his 2 older brothers, Roberto kick-started his career with a substantial peplum role in 1964. He's playing a rather politically-incorrect gibbering mute boy, an unfortunate staple of peplum movies. Roberto was 18 (probably 17 when it was filmed), but is playing a role that is definitely intended to be somewhat younger.
