Re: Borgese, Salvatore
3 Supermen in Santo Domingo (1986) credited as "Sal Borgese", as Sal.
This was the final entry in the long-running 3 Supermen film series with a constantly changing trio of leading actors. Sal is the only remaining actor from the old films, with Daniel Stephen and Stefano Martinenghi stepping in to portray the other two supermen. Once again, Sal plays the mute comic relief part of the trio, and as usual he dons several disguises, including dressing up in full drag yet again!
In order to pad the running time, the supermen at one point think back on some of their old adventures, and we are thus treated to two flashback scenes made up of recycled footage from Tre supermen a Tokyo (1968). Which works well enough in Sal's case as he had actually played one of the three supermen in that film, but it's painfully obvious that Daniel Martin and Willy Colombini, despite being masked, look nothing at all like Daniel Stephen and Stefano Martinenghi! Re: Borgese, Salvatore
Paradiso infernale (aka Natura contro) (1988) credited, but not found.
There was a hunter who is only seen for a second who I thought could be Sal, but Johan didn't think it was him. His credit here is therefore a mystery. He definitely does not play the role of Juan Garcia as listed on IMDb.
