I really think he’s him! If someone else give his opinion about the ID is better….but I’m pretty sure: you just found our man!

Sometimes you need that luck, hopefully someone else can identify him also. This was his debut role !
By the way Mike, i found him also i think in Le voci bianche (1964) as Meo's brother. Also in the credits i saw under his name Filippo Spoletini, could he be his brother ? Do you know if he had a brother ?

Spoletini's not someone I know very well, but based on the images in his topic it does seem like it could be him in the second lot of images

About Filippo “Pippo” Spoletini, at the beginning of his career was a generico and sometimes also stuntman. But he is famous mainly as “capogruppo generici”, a sort of coordinator of the generici department. His sons continued the family traditions and they have an agency for generici active here in Rome.
I don’t know if Pippo Spoletini and Guglielmo Spoletini were brothers, but I don’t think so. Never read about this relatives.

Second one…I’m little confused. In the first picture is him, in the second one doesn’t seems to be the same person. Why does he have the beard? Has any time passed within the film's story?

Well, The sailor from Gibraltar (1967) is a difficult one.
You said the first picture was him, the second no, but later on he isn't on the boat anymore, the other sailors i saw were other actors.
I searched him again, but couldn't find him at this moment.
Can you search him if you have time later on, the movie is on ok.ru and Youtube. (good luck)
Thanks for the reply on the other movie.

Rudy, I gave the film a quick watch. I have identified both sequences that you found, and I think I can confirm that they are two different people. And the first sailor is probably our Spoletini. I'm not so sure though, unfortunately you only see a few seconds and the quality of the video isn't the best.van den bremt rudy wrote: ↑24/01/2024, 17:54Well, The sailor from Gibraltar (1967) is a difficult one.

However, if it helps you for future identifications, Spoletini has always had a scar on his left eyebrow. it is very often visible, in some cases not, probably because it is covered by make-up. but if visible it is a guarantee of its identity.
