Whenever you get an opportunity could you check La Luciana (1954) for this monocle-wearing actor, who I think could be a likely generico. He is Alberto D'Amario, who has 6 roles listed on IMDb, 3 of which I've been able to find. Maybe you recognise him from other things?

He's not someone I'm familiar with, no, but judging by your pics, this must be him in La Luciana as a member of the contraband gang

Thank you, yes that is him for sure. He's not someone I'm familiar with either, but he caught my attention in Mamma mia, che impressione! and with only 6 appearances listed on IMDb he looked like he may be of interest. His credit in Desiderio 'e sole is odd, since he plays an identical role to Catoni and Baralla, who are not credited. He seems to have a definite "look" of the Erich Von Stroheim variety with the monocle present in all 4 roles found. I may as well start a topic for him with the 4 roles found, though not sure whether to put him as a generico or actor.

I and Nick have found i think Aldo Canti as carabinieri in Guerre secrète (Guerra secretaà (1965) but my copy i found was a bad one, but Nick also tought it was him in the Italian segement of the movie, he is around 1 hour 45' 13 seconds till around 1 hour 47 minutes 33 seconds
here my bad picture, maybe you have better ones for Aldo

Since you have a sharper print of I mariti, could you check the trial scene for our other black & white beard, he plays one of the judges and maybe if the image is a bit clearer it could be used as a main image
