Yes, I know about this role as I have this film in a better version. The problem is just that I can't make any sense whatsoever about what his role is supposed to be.van den bremt rudy wrote: ↑05/01/2022, 23:41Could this be Andrew Lord Miller in "I ragazzi di via Panisperna (1989) ?
if so, then he has only a minute role here, i hop it is him

Re: Requests for Johan
Thanks, I'll wait and see if you can get it since, as you can see here, the subtitles in the ok.ru copy are rather distracting (and make little sense) and it's impossible to get any shots where they don't appear, plus the images are fairly small.Johan Melle wrote: ↑07/01/2022, 18:29
Looks like the only place this can be found is on Emule. A very slow download, but I'll try it.
Re: Requests for Johan
Johan, I have a DVD rip if want me to post these? I didn't get mine from eMule so I don't know what that one is like. Here's a shot of the hotel manager...PeplumParadise wrote: ↑05/01/2022, 15:28Do you still have I due compari (1955)? I see you have previously posted images, but it isn't on your list. The only copy I could find, from ok.ru, has intrusive burned-in English subtitles.
If you do there's Mario Meniconi as the man blocking the train corridor at around 0:12:30 and Renato Navarrini as the doorman at the music academy at around 0:18:30, plus I will also need images of Ugo Sasso, who plays the hotel manager at 0:50:30 and 0:55:55, none of them credited.

Re: Requests for Johan
Do you still have Ballata tragica (1955)? I saw you'd posted images of Pasquale De Filippo fairly recently.
If you do can you check the film for Vincent Barbi whenever you have the time. He's credited in your shot for De Filippo and it's the only one of his known Italian films from the 50's we don't have yet..

Yes, I have it, though I've filed it under 1954, which is the correct year, even if IMDb insists on 1955. Hardly a great copy, but I'll check it a little later.PeplumParadise wrote: ↑08/01/2022, 17:04Do you still have Ballata tragica (1955)? Where did you find the nice (well, nicer than any copies I've ever seen anyway) copy of La cortigiana di Babilonia?

It's a TV print as you can tell in some shots that there's a logo that has been removed. There's some blurring and noise during scenes with much movement, but overall it's pretty decent. I got it from Emule.PeplumParadise wrote: ↑08/01/2022, 19:40Where did you find the nice (well, nicer than any copies I've ever seen anyway) copy of La cortigiana di Babilonia?

Found and posted! I'm not super-familiar with Vincent, but I think he might also appear in La bella di Roma (1955) as a corner man during the boxing fight. Maybe you can check it as I don't have a good copy myself.PeplumParadise wrote: ↑08/01/2022, 17:04Do you still have Ballata tragica (1955)?
