Are you sure? Have you found him as Jose? I have him as JUAN Antonio Peral. He's credited as Juan in a couple. In The Texican as John which = Juan, I think...
Sorry, my mistake, yes you're right, it is Juan and not Jose.

Which leaves the credit as a mystery, but since neither of us found him then I presume it must belong to somebody else.

Another day, another missing Spaniard!

Do you have Pedro Rodríguez de Quevedo identified in either Uncas, el fin de una raza (1965, credited but I didn't find him) or 100.000 dollari per Ringo (1965, not in German credits and not found)?

Uncas, el fin de una raza, I don't have a very good print of this. I remember struggling with Pedro in this. I came to the conclusion he's probably General Webb, here facing to the front. What do you think?

100.000 dollari per Ringo. There's a Pedro Rodriguez credited in the Spanish. I think I figured that since that's a so common name it could refer to someone else.

Yes, I agree, it at least seems like it could be him. I think the copy I watched was even worse than those! I'm just downloading a different one from OK.RU which will hopefully be better

Sounds like as good an explanation as any :D

Thanks for sorting those out, his topic should be ready to go tomorrow

Is that helpful?

Those look like the copy I downloaded yesterday. The quality is better but the aspect ratio is condensed and the picture seems to be leaning slightly to the left

and for today's Spanish confusion we have Luis Vilar and / or Luis Villar. IMDb has them all credited as "Luis Villar", despite him only being credited once with the double "L" spelling.

IMDb lists the actor credited as "Luis Villar" in Fuerte perdido as playing the Justice of the peace (below)

but in my opinion this is not the same actor as "Luis Vilar" who appears in La tumba del pistolero (with his hair dyed black), I due violenti and others, who has a large mouth and distinctive bags under his eyes.

So either the IMDb credit for Fuerte perdido is wrong (which would hardly be a surprise) and Vilar plays a different role, but in my poor quality copy I didn't see anyone else who seemed like him, or else Vilar and Villar are different actors...

I'm not sure who the actor is above but Luis Vi(l)lar is the homesteader driving this wagon...

Ah, that sorts that out then, thanks, in my copy I couldn't identify the actor on the wagon at all as his face was just a soft fuzzy blur :sob:

I may as well do a topic for Vilar since he only has 13 credits on IMDb

I've just spotted "Big Bigote" on the left in your image for Rafael Cortes in The Desperados. Could you see if there are any better shots of him please
