Re: Requests for Carlos
Hi Carlos, do you have a copy of Giorni di sangue (1968)?
I'm looking for images of Pietro Torrisi and also Pasquale Basile whose topic I'm preparing. IMDb also lists an "R. Bonadonna" who has no other credits, so I'm wondering if that could be Elio or Giovanni.

That's a new one on me! From the synopsis on Cinedatabase it seems to have western elements :unsure2:PeplumParadise wrote: ↑07/07/2021, 14:31Hi Carlos, do you have a copy of Giorni di sangue (1968)?

Re: Requests for Carlos
IMDb describes it as "drama, western" and while that obviously is not the most reliable source it certainly looks like a western from the advertisingcarlos wrote: ↑07/07/2021, 16:20That's a new one on me! With counts and countesses it may be set in your part of the world I'm not finding anything definite regarding availability so if anyone finds anything please let us know...
Those 2 are definitely in it

Re: Requests for Carlos
My Italian source says: "the film is set in Italy (southern Tuscany) during the nineteenth century" so isn't really a western. Evidently it is also hard to find.PeplumParadise wrote: ↑07/07/2021, 16:30IMDb describes it as "drama, western" and while that obviously is not the most reliable source it certainly looks like a western from the advertising

Re: Requests for Carlos
Well it wouldn't be the first time a film has been advertised to look like something it's not That fotobusta will suffice to confirm their appearances until such time as a copy of the film can be found, so thank you.carlos wrote: ↑07/07/2021, 20:44My Italian source says: "the film is set in Italy (southern Tuscany) during the nineteenth century" so isn't really a western. 19th century is a bit too late for me, my historical films more or less cut off around the time that westerns start, historically speaking, around the end of the 18th century - give or take Zorro films where they still fight with swords and the odd crossover where Samson or a medieval castle or Julius Caesar appear unexpectedly in the wild west.

Re: Requests for Carlos
A couple of questions for you regarding Pasquale Basile.
Some websites list him as appearing in Dio perdoni la mia pistola (1969), but I've looked through it a few times and not found him. Do you know if he appears?
and similarly some websites credit him as playing the cantina owner in Jesse & Lester - Due fratelli in un posto chiamato Trinità, but for me, besides having a similar moustache, this actor does not seem at all like Pasquale to me. What's your opinion?

And that may be my fault When we only had the real bad VHS rip, I thought it was him and had him listed on the SWDB, but with the German release I thought better of it and removed the credit.PeplumParadise wrote: ↑08/07/2021, 12:30and similarly some websites credit him as playing the cantina owner in Jesse & Lester - Due fratelli in un posto chiamato Trinità, but for me, besides having a similar moustache, this actor does not seem at all like Pasquale to me.
