It means Cecco (diminutive of the name Francesco) de li burini (of the peasants / men with provincial manners) of Viterbo (from Viterbo - a town near Rome). But it's not translatable, cause the whole thing forms a nickname, so it's like trying to translate a nickname.PeplumParadise wrote: ↑29/10/2021, 10:30Is anybody able to translate "Cecco de li burini di Viterbo" into English? Google isn't able to! According to IMDb it's the role played by Roberto Dell'Acqua in I racconti di Viterbury

Re: Requests for everyone
After Johan's contradiction I'm a bit unsure if this here is enough:
For me, that's without a doubt Omero Capanna in ´Carambola, filotto.... tutti in buca` (1974). First pic on the very right, in the second he's saddlin' a horse in the background, Is this enought to get into his thread?

Re: Requests for everyone
In my opinion it is quite obviously him in the first image, despite him being partly obscuredFatmanDan wrote: ↑30/10/2021, 22:08After Johan's contradiction I'm a bit unsure if this here is enough:

Re: Requests for everyone
Just realized that in Romano Moraschini's thread. the pic from ´Sfida a Rio Bravo`(1964) is exactly the same as the one from ´ L'uomo dalla pistola d'oro`(1965). How to handle this?
Re: Requests for everyone
It's from L'uomo dalla pistola d'oro. I have it labelled wrong in my files. Good catch! I'll fix it...

Re: Requests for everyone
Can someone give me the credits for John Stacy (Australian actor) who made many movie sin Italy for the miniserie L'Età di Cosimo de Medici epsiodes 1 called L'Esilio di Cosimo and episode 2 called Il potere di Cosimo (1972)
I will start a topic for him today or tomorrow, i think Emiliano and Johan have the credits, but maybe Nick can also have these credits
Last question, is it better to qualify him as character actor or international one ? thanks

Re: Requests for everyone
I would call him a Lesser-known actor since he worked mostly in Italy, however Johan has posted in "Topics in Preparation" that he is already preparing a topic for Stacy, so it would be better to make a topic for someone that has not been already announced by someone else.van den bremt rudy wrote: ↑07/11/2021, 11:05Can someone give me the credits for John Stacy (Australian actor) who made many movie sin Italy for the miniserie L'Età di Cosimo de Medici epsiodes 1 called L'Esilio di Cosimo and episode 2 called Il potere di Cosimo (1972)

In a feature about Bombolo [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3lz9IP1EcVs], there is a quite long scene with Franca Scagnetti and Eolo Capritti (the image below as an example). At a quick check through Scagnetti's topic, I couldn't assign a film to the scene. Does somebody know from which film this is?
