Someone has any opinion about the corrispondence with Novelli? His appearance is very different from the Novelli we know. Also Nick is very doubtful.

He's not Novelli. He is Branko Djuric, Yugoslavian actor seen in various other Italian films shot in Yugoslavia in the late 80s and early 90s.

On it.wikipedia.org i found Mario credited as Prisoner of war.
In the story, there are 2 P.O.W.S. (prisoner of wars) who are liberated by a teenage boy and the protagonists ?
Is he one of the prisoners ?

I checked again. More or less halfway through the film, two American prisoners are freed: one is the actor Bobby Rhodes and the other one is our white-haired suspect, who according to Johan Melle is the actor Branko Djuric.
In the place where they are freed there are other Russian prisoners inside a cage, and the only one who reminds me a little of Novelli seems to be this one, even if in my opinion it's not him (he doesn't even have any lines or action, so it seems exaggerated to have him in the opening credits)

on IMDb Djuric is credited as "Russian commander".
I don't really know what to think.

I found now a photo of Djuric that I think confirm is role for Cap. Bowie.

at this point it occurs to me that whatever Novelli's role was has probably been cut. I can't find any other explanation.

I would say that for the moment I will only leave the credits. Let's see if anyone in the future will be able to find out where Novelli is hiding and who he plays!

That sounds like the best idea, though he does seem to have quite a few "not found" roles from the later part of his career
