I doubt that this guy in I Viaggiatori della Sera is really Ennio. He seems not as sturdy as Ennio, and the moustache is a bit thick, to me. What do you think?

I see what you mean, though the moustache is probably false so not really a deciding factor, but while the facial features seem similar the neck does seem too thin even allowing for shadowing and also the nose seems a little big. I wouldn't say it's definitely not him, but it is doubtful - maybe better to put it as an uncertain ID.

Of course it's Ennio! All the facial features match him exactly. But if no one else agrees I'll just remove the pictures then.

The facial features seem like him in the first image but not so much in the second, though obviously it doesn't help that it's very soft when enlarged so the features are not very clear. As I said what really doesn't seem right to me is the neck - Ennio had a very thick neck and double chin which I don't see here. I would suggest putting it as an uncertain ID and hopefully a sharper image will turn up to clarify matters.

I must say I was OK with the ID from a distance until Dan mentioned it and I examined it closely.

I'm not too optimistic about getting any sharper pics as he's only in the background and out of focus anyway. I understand about the neck, though I don't really see it as being all that thin, but maybe a little streched. Looking at his neck in the pics from the same year's La patata bollente, there's not that much of a difference from what I can see. No problem about changing it to uncertain ID, of course, but again, I would rather like to hear what other members think.

well i will do an effort to recognize him but at a first glance, i wasn't sure myself that it's him, for me it's
hard to tell and i can understand Dan for getting even confused as i am.

So i'm not the best person to solve this, in my opinion an uncertain ID could be right

I guess the conclusion is no definite agreement then, so I'll amend the post.
