Re: Requests for Nick
Nick, when you are done with Charles Fawcett (interesting actor!) can you maybe post Marianne Leibl in Andrea Chenier (1955) in her topic?
Also, do you have the movie Il conte Aquila (1955), which is supposed to feature an appearance by Ezio Rossi?

Re: Requests for Nick
Nick, i have a problem with one of the Charles Fawcett movies i have found
for the movie La P...respectueuse (1952) i found him, but it's a pity the pictures are very very small
my question is, can we put these in his topic or is it not OK for the moment

Re: Requests for Nick
I think this must be Marianne, despite being credited she only has a small role like Fawcett. Unfortunately my copy is in French which I don't understand at all, so, if this is her, the best description I can come up with is Woman on the hunt.Johan Melle wrote: ↑09/08/2020, 18:39Nick, when you are done with Charles Fawcett (interesting actor!) can you maybe post Marianne Leibl in Andrea Chenier (1955) in her topic?

I've never managed to find a copy of Il conte Aquila, it's one of that list of 50's swashbucklers that's disappeared without trace

Re: Requests for Nick
NO, Charles is not credited in Tre storie proibite, after FINE no names were shown on the copy of RAI TRE
and for Paris precinct, from this episode there were only 9 minutes shown on youtube without a cast list
only the two main actors and the title were given, but i think maybe he is credited in some copies of
storie proibite and maybe he is in the full episode of Paris precinct

Re: Requests for Nick
I have also rechecked the movie La P...respectueuse (1952) and i didn't found Charles in it
perhaps it was a mistake on internet or he hasn't made that movie after all
you were right for the pictures, it wasn't him

Re: Requests for Nick
I have searched on the internet for the movie Les mousquetaires du roi (1951) (see interview)
i have read on several websites that this movie was never complete, only the interiors were shot
The filming stopped at the outbreak of the Korean war (strange i think) and was never resumed
i found more than twenty actors of this movie and Charles was not one of them
we shall never know if this was the movie from that interview

Re: Requests for Nick
I scrolled through the movies of Dyan Cannon and found 3 movies that were shot in France with her
1971 Le casse (avec jean-paul belmondo and omar sharif)
1973 The last of Sheila (James Coburn)
1978 revenge of the Pink Panther (Peter Sellers)
if it is one of these then he must have a very small uncredited role, who knows

Looks like there's a TV print of Il conte Aquila around. It's on Emule, which is actually working for a change, so I'm trying to download it now. Fingers crossed!

Re: Requests for Nick
Why would you think that? I've downloaded the same print as you have, which lists 16 actors in the opening credits. They look like typical 1950s credits to me and nothing appeared to be missing, so I'm not sure why there should be a different version with more actors credited. The role played by Charles is not particularly large, so it doesn't seem strange to me that he's uncredited.van den bremt rudy wrote: ↑11/08/2020, 12:30but i think maybe he is credited in some copies of
