This should be Zorro il cavaliere della vendetta (Italian title), El Zorro caballero de la justicia (Spanish) Zorro la maschera della vendetta should be El Zorro de Monterrey (Spanish) where Pasquale plays Zorro's sidekick also by the same director in 1971. I've never seen an Italian copy and the Spanish version is very small.PeplumParadise wrote: ↑10/07/2021, 18:34Zorro la maschera della vendetta (1971) credited, as Johnny

Re: Requests for Nick
Yes it is
Think so. He has a name I believe but I couldn't make it out. It's on YouTube, you have some Spanish, right? maybe you can decipher it if you want to
Re: Requests for Nick
To make it more so I see he's also in the one with José Jaspe, La última aventura del Zorro (Spanish), Zorro il dominatore (Italian), which I haven't seen, by the same director also 1971, so I guess these may have been shot together since they share some cast members.

Re: Requests for Nick
Yes, it looks like he made a whole bunch of adventure movies in Spain between 69-71, mostly starring Carlos Quiney, for whom these movies make up 50% of his career, and mostly directed by José Luis Merinocarlos wrote: ↑10/07/2021, 21:27To make it more so I see he's also in the one with José Jaspe, La última aventura del Zorro (Spanish), Zorro il dominatore (Italian), which I haven't seen, by the same director also 1971, so I guess these may have been shot together since they share some cast members.
Re: Requests for Nick
To add to the confusion, looks like the opening scene of Zorro il dominatore was reused in Tre spade di Zorro (1963) with different closeups for Pasquale (Antonio Prieto) :roll:PeplumParadise wrote: ↑10/07/2021, 21:49Yes, it looks like he made a whole bunch of adventure movies in Spain between 69-71, mostly starring Carlos Quiney, for whom these movies make up 50% of his career, and mostly directed by José Luis Merinocarlos wrote: ↑10/07/2021, 21:27To make it more so I see he's also in the one with José Jaspe, La última aventura del Zorro (Spanish), Zorro il dominatore (Italian), which I haven't seen, by the same director also 1971, so I guess these may have been shot together since they share some cast members.
Re: Requests for Nick
Problem is that in the versions I have seen that in the Italian credits they mixed up the titles. According to my notices, Zorro il cavaliere della vendetta (1971) is credit-okay and in fact El Zorro, caballero de la justicia. Female star is Malisa Longo. Shown in Italy nearly one year before getting started in Spain.
Zorro il dominatore (1969) itself shows the title El Zorro del Monterrey and is La ultima aventura del Zorro. Female star is Maria Pia Conte. (don't manage to load up the Spanish poster)
Zorro, la maschera della vendetta (1971) is El Zorro de Monterrey, but the credits (with copied spanish title) ist that from Zorro il dominatore. Female star is Lea Nanni.
