Re: Foreign movies shot in Italy

Two other titles I'm wondering about:

The Last Temptation of Christ (1988). Reading about the movie, all I can find are sources saying it was shot on location on Morocco. However, the IMDb credits Francesco Cinieri with "casting: Rome", and there are indeed a couple of Rome-based actors in minor roles such as Robert Spafford, Donald Hodson, Russel Case etc, which would indicate that some shooting also took place in Rome. Anyone know anything about this?

55 Days at Peking (1963). All I can find out is that this one was shot on location in Spain, but there's Massimo Serato and Jacques Sernas among the actors, and there are uncredited appearances by Andrea Esterhazy and George Wang, which seems like a good indication that some shooting may also have taken place in Italy. Anyone know anything more?

How about Vincente Minelli's A Matter of Time / Nina (1976)?

Thanks for the additions!

I also just thought of the French movie L'homme orchestre (1970), which in spite being partially filmed in Italy and featuring Italian actors does not appear to have been an Italian co-production.

For SEVEN HILLS OF ROME is an Italian co-production, like BARABBAS, the BIBLE, SODOM AND GOMORRHA and lots more, it's not a "foreign movie"...
