Aumont, Tina
Re: Tina Aumont
In the enigmatic film Arcana (1972) as Marisa.
If the film follows a certain plot from the beginning, towards the end it abandons all logic and becomes incomprehensible. The only clear role remains that of Tina, that of a girl who turns to a fortune teller for love matters but ends up in a glimmer of madness. A simply physical character, functional to the plot.
Unfortunately, the only copy avaiable looks very bad, but there are some nice coloured "fotobuste" in which the actress looks splendid.

Re: Tina Aumont
The most beautiful and perhaps the most well-written role of her entire career, in Bazzoni's masterpiece L'uomo, l'orgoglio, la vendetta (1967) as Carmen.
She plays a gypsy which makes a soldier (Franco Nero) lose his head and drags him into a whirlwind that will lead to destruction.
It’s one of the rare occasions where a director has entrusted her with a complex character, which, moreover, seems to have been tailor-made for her. The enthusiasm and passion that Tina puts in this test of actress will unfortunately not be rewarded in the future with parts up to this.
It certainly remains one of her most beautiful and moving movies.

In the last movie of Vincente Minnelli, A matter of time a.k.a. Nina (1976) as Valentina.
She plays a relative to the protagonist, the diva and director's daughter, Liza Minnelli.
The movie is a sort of a swan song of an entire era but also a melodramatic sweet comedy. Tina had just a small role, but she still manages to give it a particular light.

A rare small interview on the Fellini's Casanova (1976), in which she speaks with her real voice in perfect Italian. Click here for the video.

Partner (1968) an early Bertolucci movie, as salesgirl of washing powders (credited)
In the late sixties, Tina made some very so called art movies, mostly without plot story

Le lit de la vierge (1969) as the prisoner
again in one of these very strange art movies an allegory about christ coming to earth in modern times
there is some odd thing about this one, there are no credits at the beginning nor at the end of it
very short part, she says nothing, in this French movie
title translated in english : the virgin's bed
