Darker Than Amber (1970) as Vangie McPherson
An action thriller starring the macho Rod Taylor, directed by an action-movie "craftsman", Robert Clouse, best known for having been lucky to direct Bruce Lee in his first and only successful American film "Enter the Dragon".
The protagonist saves the life of a girl thrown into the water with a weight tied to her feet (played by Suzy Kendall), and a fiery loving passion will be born between the couple. However, the shady affairs in which she is involved soon come to the surface and their relationship is destined to end violently.
The film does not offer great opportunities to show the actress's dramatic performances and is easily forgettable among the many made into the vein of "underwater" films.

The Penthouse (1967) as Barbara Wilson
Starring in a verbose but innovative drama about a man and woman with a shameful secret at the mercy of a pair of sadistic thugs. Bruce and Barbara Willson (Suzy Kendall) are two adulterers, and one day in the penhouse where they consume their relationship two criminals enter, tie Bruce to a chair and, after clouding Barbara's senses, repeatedly abuse her. When they finally leave, distraught the couple wonder if there is a way to tell their story to the police without revealing their secret.
The film does not offer particularly animated moments and is all shot inside an apartment. Even the interpretations, however much they try to be over the top and insane, are also too measured. The actress's interpretation appears convincing in the ending, when shows all the cynicism of her character. However, it remains a good springboard for the actress who, with a scandalous film, managed to be seen by a wide audience.

Starring in the well-shot social drama Up the Junction (1968) as Polly
Wealthy young heiress Polly (Suzy Kendall) gives up a privileged life in Chelsea but bored of the comfortable life she moves to a working-class community in Battersea, where she finds a job in a confectionery factory. She will also find love, but she will feel the pain and the consequences of the poverty.
After directing her in "The penthouse", the following year, the director Peter Collison still chooses Suzy Kendall for the first film in wich she's the absolute protagonist. The result this time is clearly superior and she offers an excellent characterization, also because the talent of the actress is clearly highlighted when supported by a script at the height, in this case based on the 1963 book of the same name.

Tales That Witness Madness (1973) - segment "Penny Farthing" as Ann Beatrice
Horror film that consisting of six stories. Suzy Kendall stars in one of them together with actor Peter McEnery. The segment is very short, and her character is rather lacking in facets. Therefore the actress limits herself to offering her usually "scream queen repertoire".

Craze (1974) credited as Sally.
In this British horror movie, directed by genre specialist Freddie Francis, she is playing a hooker, here with curly brown hair who falls victim to a strange antiquair, played by Jack Palance, who worships an African statue and believes that he has to murder, in order to bring him wealth and fortune.
Suzy Kendall here has only a decorative and shorter role than usual in this movie, not made by the famous Hammer studios, but by Harbor pictures, who also made the well known sketch horror movie Asylum.

To Sir With Love (1967) credited, as Gillian Blanchard.

Here Suzy is playing a teacher in a London's East End high school where the students are undisciplined, till a black engineer-trainee played by American actor Sidney Poitier looks for a job and gradually wins the heart of these pupils. It is a heart warming and well executed movie where she has a secondary role in attendance of bigger roles later on. This British movie did surprisingly well in the States and that because of....Sidney.

The Sandwich Man (1966) credited as Sue
British comedy that takes place in swinging' London with a widower who goes around the town wearing a sandwich-board advert on his body for advertising and gets some comical adventures on his way with some strange characters.
