Il treno per Istanbul (1980) (TV mini-series) - episodes 1-4, credited in Radiocorriere TV listings, as Coral.

Mimsy plays the female lead in this 4-part television adaptation of Graham Greene's 1932 novel "Stamboul Train".

La légion saute sur Kolwezi (1980) credited, as Annie Debruyn.

This French action-war film is based on the real-life battle of Kolwezi that took place in 1978, when thousands of civilians in the Kolwezi province of Kongo were taken hostage by armed fighters from Katanga. Mimsy plays a French woman who finds herself caught up in the conflict together with her young teenage son. Originally, her role was played by actress Jean Seberg, who tragically committed suicide in August 1979. As many of Seberg's scenes still remained to be shot, Mimsy was brought in to replace her in the role.

Même les mômes ont du vague à l'âme (1980) credited on the poster, as Charlotte (role to be confirmed).

Another of Mimsy's French films, and one of the more obscure ones it seems.

Black cat (Gatto nero) (1981) credited, as Jill Travers.

Mimsy returns to horror with this atmospheric Lucio Fulci film, inspired by Poe's famous tale and shot on location in England. She stars as an American photographer visiting England, where she gets caught up in a mystery concerning a strange old man who deals in the occult, and his malevolent black cat. Not one of Mimsy's most demanding roles, but she is a likeable heroine, and her face is framed beautifully in a number of great shots by Fulci, who loved to shoot his actors in close-up.

Il quartetto Basileus (1982) credited in Radiocorriere TV listings, as Miss Permamint (role to be confirmed).

This drama about a renowned string quartet who have a crisis when their lead violinist suddenly dies was originally released in theaters, and then shown in an extended version for television. It was a huge critical success and won several awards, yet it seems to have faded into obscurity and I wasn't able to find a copy anywhere. Mimsy is pictured and credited in an article from Radiocorriete TV, however.

La déchirure (1982) (TV movie) credited in TV ads, as Elia.

This French spy thriller made for television teams Mimsy with the esteemed French actor Maurice Ronet. It was also released on VHS under the title Service Secret, but I've not been able to find a copy.

La ragazza di Trieste (1982) credited, as Valeria.

This erotic psychological drama stars American actor Ben Gazzara as an aging artist who falls in love with a much younger woman (Ornella Muti) who may or may not be insane. Mimsy plays a supporting part as Gazzara's old lover, who is no longer able to excite him due to his obssession with Muti. A somewhat thankless part, but Mimsy plays it with grace and elegance. Interestingly, her voice in the English language version is dubbed by Susan Spafford, making this the only film I'm aware of in which Mimsy didn't dub her own voice in English.

Arabesque (1983) (TV mini-series) credited in Radiocorriere listings, episodes 1-3, as Clara Wieck Schumann.

This 3-part biopic for television has Mimsy starring as the famed Romantic era pianist Clara Wieck Schumann, but sadly, the series has faded into obscurity and is nowhere to be found. When interviewed in Video Watchdog #161, Mimsy explains that while she used to dub her own voice in French, she almost never did so in Italian, because the Italians - unlike the French - do not like accents. This mini-series was one of the very few occasions where Mimsy did her own voice in Italian, and she worked really hard with a dialogue coach to get her Italian down perfectly.

La mort de Mario Ricci (1983) credited, as Cathy Burns.

This French mystery-drama stars Gian Maria Volontè as a TV journalist who travels to a small village to interview a sociologist, but instead he gets embroiled in the mystery of what happened to Mario Ricci, a young Italian laborer who died in a supposed accident. Mimsy co-stars as the sociologist's collaborator, who forms a tentative romance with Volontè's assistant. The film was a big critical success, with Volontè winning the best actor prize at Cannes, and Mimsy names it as one of her favorites of her own films when interviewed in Radiocorriere n. 47 (1986).

Although not an Italian co-production, this was released in Italy as Morte di Mario Ricci and the Italian credit writers managed to screw up by crediting Mimsy as Mismy Farmer!

Un foro nel parabrezza (1983) (TV mini-series) - episodes 1-3, credited, as Daniza.

This three-part thriller series stars Vittorio Mezzogiorno as a journalist investigating a mysterious car with a bullet-riddled windscreen, and Mimsy has a great femme fatale parts as a mysterious woman Mezzogiorno becomes involved with through his investigations. Premiered at the Venice Film Festival in 1983 (in what I presume was a shortened version), the full mini series was not shown on Italian television until in 1985.
