More (1969) credited, as Estelle.

Mimsy made her European film debut with a real bang with this French-German film about drug experimentation and free love, starring as a free-spirited American woman who leads her European boyfriend into a spiral of drug addiction. Made on a shoestring budget in picturesque Ibiza, More was a huge international hit, launching Mimsy as a star in Europe, where she would spend the rest of her career. Befitting of this change is a completely new look on Mimsy. Gone is her long hair and heavy eye make-up, replaced by a shorter, more masculine hairstyle and more discreet make-up - a look that was to be her signature throughout the 1970s.

Strogoff (1970) credited, as Nadja.

Mimsy's first Italian film was this adaptation of Jules Verne's famous 1876 novel "Michael Strogoff". Shot on location in Eastern Europe, Mimsy plays the female lead alongside fellow American actor John Phillip Law.

La route de Salina (Quando il sole scotta) (1970) credited, as Billie.

This sun-drenched French-Italian neo-noir thriller teams Mimsy with three other American stars: Robert Walker, Ed Begley and Rita Hayworth. Walker is a drifter who is taken in by a strange family who claim to recognize him as their lost son. Mimsy is the so-called sister who entices him into a sexual relationship, and gives one of the best performances of her career as the seductive and manipulative Billie. The film was an international success, and Mimsy won a special David di Donatello award for her performance.

4 mosche di velluto grigio (1971) credited, as Nina Tobias.

One of the most internationally famous of Mimsy's Italian films is this Dario Argento giallo in which she plays the wife of the American protagonist Michael Brandon. Here, Mimsy's innocent, almost fragile appearance is used to deceive the audience, with the character's true colors revealed in the startling finale where Mimsy gives an electrifying performance.

Corpo d'amore (1972) credited, as The girl.

This strange arthouse film tells the story of an estranged father and son who discover an unconscious woman played by Mimsy on the beach. She speaks only a strange language that no one can understand, but they both become infatuated with her. Essaying the role of the titular 'body of love', Mimsy spends her screen-time either half-naked or speaking gibberish, but at least the camera is in love with her and captures her in one beautiful shot after another.

Il maestro e Margherita (1972) credited, as Margherita Nikolajevna.

This strange and surreal film based on the famous Soviet novel "The Master and Margarita" by Mikhail Bulgakov, was a prestigious and award-winning production directed by renowned Yugoslav director Aleksandar Petrović and starring Ugo Tognazzi as the titular master. Mimsy, although absent during large stretches of the film, plays the pivotal role of Tognazzi's mistress, bringing class and quiet frailty to the part.

Interestingly, the Italian version of the film cut out a strange scene in which Mimsy's eye turns into a kind of screen on which the image of the master appears. This scene is included in the Serbian version at least, and was also featured in much of the publicity for the film.

Deux hommes dans la ville (Due contro la città) (1973) credited, as Lucie.

This tragic French-Italian crime drama offered Mimsy a chance to work with French acting legends Alain Delon and Jean Gabin. Delon (who also produced) stars as a newly released ex-con struggling to lead an honest life, and Mimsy is the sweet girl who becomes his girlfriend, but unfortunately, the two actors did not get along behind the scenes. When interviewed in Radiocorriere n. 47 (1986), Mimsy said this was the film she has the most unpleasant memories from, describing Delon as "despotic and arrogant" and Gabin as "angry at the whole world because he couldn't remember his lines anymore". Despite all this, Mimsy has good on-screen chemistry with Delon, and they make a convincing screen couple.

La faccia violenta di New York (1973) credited in the trailer and on posters, as Milena (role to be confirmed).

This sleazy Mexican-Italian crime movie is one of the more obscure productions Mimsy appeared in, and one can hardly recognize her at all in the brown wig.

Les mille et une mains (1973) credited, as Nadine.

This obscure and dreary French-Moroccan social drama is a strong contender for Mimsy's worst film, and despite her prominent second-billing, she's not really in the film much. She only appears in a couple of scattered scenes as a Moroccan businessman's beautiful but bored wife.

Morire a Roma (1973) credited, as Anna.

Another of Mimsy's more obscure films, this gloomy and depressing melodrama stars Giulio Brogi as a director going through an existential crisis, and Mimsy (at her most unglamorous) as his sad, suffering wife, with complications arising with the arrival of a young revolutionary who falls in love with Mimsy.
