La ragazza sotto il lenzuolo (1961) credited, as Dolly.

This time round it was Walter Chiari who was the comic star, but Hélène lost out in the publicity to top-billed Cuban siren Chelo Alonso.

Maciste alla corte del Gran Khan (1961) credited, as Liu-Tai.

This was the first of a string of peplum roles for Hélène and her first dramatic role in an Italian production. Yoko Tani is the female lead, but it is Hélène who has the juicier role and she makes the most of it.

Colpo gobbo all'italiana (1962) credited, as the French tourist.

Another opportunity for Hélène to expand her dramatic range. A policeman (Andrea Checchi) witnesses her being slapped by her husband, only to try and take advantage of her himself after coming to her rescue.

I tre nemici (1962) credited as Helen Chanel, as Jacqueline.

Hélène didn't completely give up on comedy in 1962, here she appears for a second time opposite Franco & Ciccio.

La monaca di Monza (1962) credited, as Caterina.

It must be said that Hélène, in full make-up, makes a somewhat unlikely-looking nun.

Maciste all'inferno (1962) credited, as Martha Gaunt, the witch / Fania.

Here you have Hélène playing what is the same character in two different forms, rather than two separate characters. She gets to don "ugly" prosthetics to play Martha Gaunt, a witch who is burned at the stake, then gets to be her more glamorous self as Fania, the form she takes in hell where she devises the tasks Maciste (Kirk Morris) must undertake to free her descendent, confusingly also named Martha Gaunt (Vira Silenti). While it is definitely Hélène who gets aged in hell when Maciste completes his tasks, I am not absolutely certain that it is also her as the witch on the stake, as even allowing for prosthetics the facial features seem quite different.

Avventura al motel (1963) credited as Helen Chanel, as Madame de Sèvres.

Here she plays one of a pair of statuettes on a shelf, who come to life to comment on the goings on in the film.
