Canterbury proibito (1972) credited, as Old pilgrim.
One of the endless decamerotic films released in the early 1970s, and as always, made up of various bawdy stories, told here by a bunch of pilgrims on their way to Canterbury. Giovanni appears only in the linking segments as one of the pilgrims and gets absolutely nothing to do here despite being credited.

Bettina (1976) (TV mini-series) - episode 1: "La putta onorata", credited, as Scanna.
Broadcast the year after Giovanni's death, this TV production was most likely his final acting role.

Il sole tornerà (1957) credited as Music teacher
Found a short clip of this movie and at the end of it he was visible.

Filidoro, Giovanni
Il cavaliere dalla spada nera (1956), as Man arguing in tavern. You don't see much (if at all) of his face, but from what you see it's Giovanni arguing with Salvatore Campochiaro, then hiding during the fencing.
