Re: Amerigo Santarelli
Amerigo also appears in the American/Italian epic Barabbas (1961), where he can be seen briefly as a gladiator
And here's a still of Amerigo on the set of Barabbas This picture was posted in the Facebook page Peplum Paradise on 7 July 2018 by Amerigo's great-nephew, Mauro Santarelli. He also reported to Nick Wale, the webmaster of Peplum Paradise, that Amerigo was born 21 September 1910 in Rome and that he died 8 October 1971 in Rome. His birth name was actually Americo. I'm going to update the first post to include this important info.

Re: Amerigo Santarelli
Gli innamorati (1955), as One of the neighborhood men, where he breaks up the fight between Franco Interlenghi and Sergio Raimondi
Poveri ma belli (1957), as Bartender of the beach bar
00-2 agenti segretissimi (1964). Great close-up for him from the Franco & Ciccio spy spoof.
Fellini Satyricon (1969), as Man at the feast. This is no surprise as he has a very typical 'Fellini face'
Roma (1972), as a Restaurant diner. And another Fellini role. This film, released in March 1972, must have been one of Amerigo's final acting jobs - probably filmed just shortly before his death in October 1971.

b]Teseo contro il minotauro[/b] (1960), as Torturer. Another typical uncredited role.
La più grande rapina del west (1967), as Townsman

Re: Amerigo Santarelli
Afrodite, dea dell'amore (1958), as Slave guardian. Yet another peplum role for Amerigo.

Re: Amerigo Santarelli
Franco, Ciccio e il pirata Barbanera (1969), as chief of a tribe of headhunters. Who else could interpret this role? Second pic is the scene where he pronounces his "memorable" line (with an invented language): "Aranga gatanga.... ALUBA!" (it should means: "chop their heads"). But in the end he is forced to surrender to Barbanera!

Re: Amerigo Santarelli
Is there anyone more suited than Amerigo for the role of the mean, whip-cracking head guard on the ship in Indomptable Angélique a.k.a. L'indomabile Angelica (1967)? Of course not! :p

Re: Amerigo Santarelli
Good news, found his most earlier role till now.
Il cavaliere misterioso (1948) as a fighting guard. he is on the right. Vittorio Gassman is the mysterious rider.
Amerigo in Quo Vadis (1951) a Hollywood super production!
He plays a roman soldier tying a Christian to a cross!
