This movie was first released in 1939 in England and in 1940 in the States.
An interesting detail, in this movie, a very young Peter Cushing appeared as one of the students!

Drums along the Mohawk (1939) as Commander of the colonial troops

Gil (Henry Fonda) and his newly wed wife (Claudette Colbert) are going to live in the Mohawk valley but this is not safe when they are
menaced by Indians and English troops when the revolutionary war begins.
A big budget action movie of this time made by the well known John Ford (this time not with John Wayne).
By the way, Frank has a wig here and comes only in the picture at the end of this movie (several sources confirm that it's him).

Rather unusual movie about a man who has trafficked boose in his younger days and because of that he has put an honest man in
jprison. Now that he needs for his new business a man he can trust he hires him but this man has other plans with him for the
future.
He is seen on the right, but the copy i found was very bad.

South of Suez (1940) as A guard

B-action movie about a greedy mine owner who does a murder and puts the blame on his ex foreman.
The female leading role was Brenda Marshall, who in 1941 married well known actor William Holden.

Gambling on the high seas (1940) as Juror

Crime movie about a gambler who has a casino on the high seas and who was always out of reach of the law, but a reporter wants to
unmask him with the aide of the female secretary of the gangster.
That's the only time that he is a little visible.

Journey for Margaret (1942) as Civil servant nightwatchman

Very short appearance in this second world war drama about a newspaperman and his wife who lose their unborn child.
In the end they adopt a boy and a girl from a homeless children institute.
The pictures are a bit dark that's because of the filming at night.

Ministry of fear (1944) as Scotland Yard man

This is a spy-film noir movie made by German director Fritz Lang about a man (Ray Milland) who just got out of a mental institution.
He gets involved against his will into a nazi spy ring and gets pursued by them and also by Scotland Yard who doesn't believe him
regarding his past.
Seeing these pictures, it is obvious that they search for something hidden.
