Well so far this is the first film topic where we've ended up with less identifications than we had to start with! Any further opinions on Dionisi would maybe help.
I'm wondering if the reason the guard on the left in 3 and 5 and I think in a second role in 35 seems very familiar is maybe because he appears in a lot of peplums! If some or all the roles below are the same actor then we will have a new unidentified generico. Let me know what you think about the ID's below all being the same blue-eyed actor with thin eyebrows. Similarly to "Rosy the Soldier" and "Mr. Chinny", he seems to play a lot of not-stunting guards
Ercole l'invincibile
Gli schiavi piu forti del mondo
Maciste l'eroe piu grande del mondo
Maciste alla corte del Gran Khan, not sure about this one

I think it's the same man. And I also wonder if he might be the same man (several years later) at the bottom of this post: viewtopic.php?f=92&t=3184#p60459PeplumParadise wrote: ↑28/09/2023, 21:52Well so far this is the first film topic where we've ended up with less identifications than we had to start with! It seems possible, though I'd like to find a few roles from the years between to see how he matured to be certain - since he seems to have played similar sorts of roles to Chinny and Rosy then very likely he'll turn up in westerns and eurospies now we know to keep an eye outJohan Melle wrote: ↑28/09/2023, 23:27I think it's the same man. Didn't Giovanni Cianfriglia play a mummy with a sword in Ercole e la regina di Lidia, at least according to some sources? Plus maybe he doubled Steve too?

There are no "mummies" in the film, only the ex-lovers of Omphale who have been turned into statues. Only seen very briefly in image 38, where I already have the comment that it has been suggested that it may be Cianfriglia, but I have found no confirmation of the ID and can't say I am particularly convinced. Alan Steel/Sergio Ciani was Reeves' stunt double in this film and all his earlier peplums, it wasn't until several films later that Cianfriglia became his regular stunt double.ChristofferSlotte wrote: ↑25/10/2023, 20:04Didn't Giovanni Cianfriglia play a mummy with a sword in Ercole e la regina di Lidia, at least according to some sources? A clear "Yes" to Artemio Antonini in 3 (and 17 and 24, again)
Definitely not Cianfriglia in 38, and nit Rinaldo Zamperla
Still Dionisi in 44

Cause I wrote that in September for the first time.PeplumParadise wrote: ↑13/01/2024, 12:26Antonini is already posted.
Dionisi added, thanks, but why "still"?
