Fray Escoba (1961)

I'm wondering if this could be Willie Ellie? Many of the black actors from this film went on to appear in Cristo negro, where Ellie has his first credited role. I'm not certain about this, though the features are certainly similar, so any opinions would be appreciated.

I think it could be Willy, seeing his eyebrows, hair (short) and eyes, but difficult to say for sure, maybe another opinion can make a difference.

For me it is much more likely that it is him than that a doppelganger only appears here

I don't think it's him. The hairline is clearly different even after only two years

Thanks for the opinions. I think the hairline appearing different could be accounted for by his hair having been brushed forward, which is how it appears in the images where he is seen from the side, but I am no expert in black hairdressing, so this only a supposition.

I remain uncertain, though I do think that, other than the hair, the other features - eyes, nose, mouth, ear - do appear very similar. Since Sergio has expressed doubts I will hold off posting the ID in the hope that we may get some further opinions.
