The potion maker should be JAMAL JOUDI (https://en.notrecinema.com/communaute/s ... idx=153531), apparently credited in the international version
Yes, he is indeed listed in the English credits - as Joudi Mohammed Jamil. Good catch!

and in those English credits you also have (presumably) Giampaolo Rosmino, credited as Antonio for some reason, who is also missing from the Italian credits.

What about this handmaiden on the right? Is she identified since she's darkened out? I see she's wearing the same costume as Gloria Milland, but she is obviously not Gloria, whose eyes are completely different (much more narrow)

It's all Gloria, maybe it's the angle she's shot from that makes her appear different

Yes, it's Gloria in all the pictures except that first one. In that picture it's absolutely not her. No way! Angles etc cannot explain how she looks completely different. It's especially noticeable with the eyes.

Well if it's not her it's very strange then as the first 3 images are the same character in the same scene on the same set - but strange things happen in Italian films as we well know, so who knows. Maybe Gloria went off in a huff at having such an insignificant role and had to be replaced for her close-up or turned up late so they used a stand-in!!

Sounds like just an ordinary day at Cinecittà to me :sweat3: Also, in fairness, they probably thought no one would notice and never suspected that 60 years later, a pair of movie nerds would be watching closely for precisely these things :p

Yes I agree it seems like it could be her, particularly from Figli del sole - her face seems thinner in Brenno, but it's probably from the print or the angle. What do others think?

She looks like her in all those movies. But having never seen her before, this is an opinion with little validity.

Not the same person in my opinion. The features are similar, but Pace has a noticeably more squared jaw.
