Both IMDb and Wikipedia list an unconfirmed birth date of November 2nd 1918 in Pescara, Italy. Both sites also have him listed as still living and currently aged 104 (rather unlikely, but not quite impossible). No other biographical details are currently known.
The first reported sighting of Eolo comes in De Sica's Ladri di biciclette (1948), a film which utilised largely non-professional actors - there is then a 22-year gap before his next-known acting role. He has 4 production credits scattered through the 50's and 60's. He returned to acting in 1970 at the age of 52 (assuming his date of birth is correct, I'm rather doubtful), and throughout the 70's he was busy both as an actor and production manager/supervisor. From the start of the 80's he only has acting credits and he kept busy through until 1991, with 2 later appearances from 1998 and 2001. For his acting credits he often used the pseudonym "Al Capri".
