: Fred Coplan in O tutto o niente (1968)

Fred Coplan (stage name of Vladan Popov) was a Croatian actor that work in Italian films. He born in March 5, 1921 in Dubrovnik (Croatia) and died in August 11, 2004 in Antibes (France).[1]

He always played under the unusual name Fred Coplan, which he took from the French spy movies with secret agent Coplan in the title role, as I presumed.

He was a doctor at the end of the World War II and later on he sailed around the world with his boat and in 1960 he arrived in Italy, but had to wait for six years to make his debut there with a very small appearance in the John Huston movie The Bible: In the Beginning (1966) and began to get roles in westerns and crime movies in the early seventies. He strangely also pops up in German light erotic comedy movies.[1]

After an adventurous life, he moved to France and began to paint and to sculpt small figures from rocks and pebbles. In 1999 there was a very short documentary where he talks about his sculptures and his former movie work.[1]

Found only a little clip of this movie, but no luck of finding him. All Ii know about this very hard to find spy movie, is that the story goes about a secretary of a famous professor who goes missing in a nuclear center and a private investigator, got the case to find out what happened.
