Piero is one of those actors who I always assumed had a larger filmography, but he only has 8 credited roles, half of those under the pseudonym "Peter Landers" (which is the name he is listed under on IMDb). Seven of his credited roles, including several quite substantial parts, fall between the years 1971-73 and it appeared that his career was on the rise, but then he was not heard from for 5 years, reappearing for one final credited role in 1978, before vanishing completely.
Could there be some uncredited roles to be found? Time will tell...
- La mortadella .... Reporter (uncredited)
- Scipione detto anche l'Africano .... Servant of Scipione (credited)
- Scusi, ma lei le paga le tasse? .... Hippy (credited)
1972 - Canterbury proibito .... Pilgrim (credited)
- Poppea... una prostituta al servizio dell'impero .... Savio (credited as "Peter Landers")
1973 - Elena sì... ma di Troia .... Savio (credited as "Peter Landers")
- I racconti di Viterbury - Le più allegre storie del '300 .... Exorcist (credited as "Peter Landers")
- Sentivano uno strano, eccitante, pericoloso puzzo di dollari .... Reverend Higgins (credited as "Peter Landers")
1978 - Corleone .... Stefano (credited as "Pietro Scheggi")
- Hope and a Matchbox (2012) IMDb as producer, presumably credited as "Peter Landers" (not appearing). While maybe not absolutely impossible, it is certainly extremely improbable that a little-known Italian actor from the 70's would reappear 40-odd years later as a producer of a British short film using the same pseudonym. Peter Landers is a fairly common name in English, and this credit must almost certainly belong to someone else.
